Welcome to December 2020! Ready to turn the page and put this year behind you?
In January and February, I was excited about all of the ways we would be celebrating JM Wilson’s 100th Anniversary in 2020. We came into March and heard our first news of the Coronavirus. Then came the months of lockdowns, quarantines, businesses closing, the continued spread of the virus, and loss of life.
With all of this and a contentious presidential election, who can celebrate?
Yet, we did celebrate! At least, the best we could with COVID-19 and most working from home.
For those of us remaining in an office, we celebrated with masks and social distancing. Our company anniversary was not going to be put on hold. Neither were any other celebrations throughout the year.
We all had to find new and creative ways to celebrate births, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. We’ve learned to video chat, enjoyed drive-by birthday parties, and taken part in a socially distanced outdoor gathering of some sort.
In our alone time, we read new books, binged TV, took up a new hobby, or found a new podcast. Perhaps you found some new blogs in your increased internet usage. I’m hoping you saw one of ours!
Here is a look back on our top 3 blogs from this crazy year:
